Annoucing the Pathfinder Day Keynote Speakers

Pathfinder DayLast year I had the privilege of attending the My Blog as Life Changer path at the first ever Pathfinder Day, a pre-conference event dedicated to "...helping you dig deep and explore one of five different potential blogging paths." I spent the day with 40-or-so other bloggers all looking down the same path I was, and 160 bloggers walking down other paths -- book proposals, media companies, businesses, and change agents.

We spent most of the day in our separate paths, working together with our path leaders and each other to answer questions, create plans, and start the serious work of doing what comes next. We also had some time allotted during the day to come together at the fork in our roads and find where our divergent paths intertwined -- the Pathfinder Day keynotes.

Today, BlogHer is thrilled to announce the amazing women who will bring the Pathfinder Day attendees together for continued introspection and education, during the Pathfinder Day '12 keynotes!

Our breakfast keynote will be a presentation by innovative digital strategist Amy Jo Martin, who founded Digital Royalty three years ago to help companies, celebrities, professional sports leagues, teams and athletes build, measure and monetize their digital universe. Today, Amy represents clients including: Shaquille O’Neal, FOX Sports, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Nike, to mention a few, and works to help people innovate their own lives, whether they're Facebook fans or Shaquille O'Neal.

Over lunch, attendees will be treated to a co-interview by two women who know the paths attendees are taking intimately. They know the twists and turns in the road we travel as bloggers, because they themselves have walked these paths.

Stefanie Wilder-Taylor started blogging in the spring of 2005 at Baby on Bored, and today is the author of four memoirs, has appeared on everything 20/20 to Larry King Live, and will be branching into television this fall on Nick Moms. Lynne d Johnson started her career online as a professional journalist and blogger writing on everything from hip hop to social media. A social media pioneer (and BlogHer '05 alumna), Lynne has traveled the path from media management to entrepreneurism, and now works online helping brands developing humanizing content and community strategies.

These two women will share their stories of success, change, and adaptation in the face of a constantly-shifting online landscape. An extension of the paths themselves, the lunch keynote will dig deeper into what it means to fearlessly ask of yourself, "What next?" and to embrace the answers you are given.
